Reading Summer List!
Hey ladie!
as I told some of you about this in the uni, I'm going to start a reading summer list for us all. With your suggestions we'll decide the list. Then we'll establish a timetable so we can finish together and start together. We'll login here in this topic or maybe a seperat one for discussing the reading material. what do you say ladies? Cool?
here is the list
1- The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson. 5 days
2- Kidnapped by the same author. 9 days
3- Robinson Crusoe by Daniel Defo. 11 days
4- Lord of the Flies by Sir William Golding. a play! 4 days or less
5- The turn of the Screw by Henry James. 5 days or less
6- Aspern Papers by the same author. 4 or less
7- Lord Jim by Joseph Conrad. 10 days
8- Victory by the same author. 10 days
9- The House of the Seven Gables by Natheniel Hawthorne. 10 days
10- The Scarlet Letter by the same author. 9 days
11- Far From The Madding Crowd by Thomas Hardy. Wow 14 days!
12- The Return of the Native by the same author. Hoh 13 maby more!
13-For Whom the Bell Tolls by Earnest Hemingway. 15!
14-The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. 3 days or less
16-The School for Scandel by Richard Sheridan. 3 or 2
17- Pamela by Sam Richardson. Check the name!

What about?
- Hard Times by Charles Dickens.. It's 260 pages long
(I'm not sure whether it's interesting or not)

Ladies the list should be 10 books ! Moody I liked Dr. Fausts, it sounds interesting Bushra! Hard Times sounds ok but I never heard of it. Let's hear from the others! We'll start next Monday ladies, so hurry UP!

2- Robinson Crusoe by Daniel Defo. 6 days, 303 pages
3- Pamela by Samuel Richardson. Not sure about the length I have to get it first!
4- The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. 4 days. 115 pages long
5- The School for Scandel by Richard Sheridan. 5 days maybe less. 129 approx.
6- Lord of the Flies by Sir William Golding.One of the best novels ladies! 5 days. 238 pages length.
7-Mrs Dalloway by Virginia Woolf. I know this was'nt on the pre-list but you'll thank me later!Not sure about the length. I'll update this & the other one num 3 later. Don't worry!
8-The turn of the Screw by Henry James. Physicollogical novel! interesting to try. 4 days! 116
9- The Scarlet Letter by the same author. 5 or 6 days. 198. A wonderful novel trust me!!!

Start as soon as u buy one becouse we should've been read at least the first one by now.. Nighto announced it earlier, and I still don't have the first one, so I'm reading it online and so far I read 4 chapters from Robinson ..

Sorry 4 being so late I was busy lately....anyway ...as u may have noticed we are LATE! so please ladies as soon as u get the first tell me we should've finished 1 & 2 by now and as 4 ur Q Mi-chan yes we should finish by the days mentioned so we can finish together if u feel like u can't just tell me and I'll see OK?
